Tahfeez Association organized an open day on the occasion of the launch of the project “Gender Justice to Increase Opportunities, Economic Opportunities and Income for Women in Jordan” in cooperation with UNDP, with the aim of launching the Knowledge and Awareness Center on the Challenges of Penalties to guide women in debt who wish to obtain small loans and to raise awareness among women by providing legal advice Introductory information for women wishing to obtain loans through a help and counseling office inside the association’s headquarters.
The project’s launch event targeted more than 250 women with their children, with the aim of guiding women wishing to obtain loans. The ceremony included a set of recreational activities targeting debtors and their children, including an interactive play aimed at informing women of the dangers of obtaining loans and their legal consequences, and competitions that include awareness messages on the topic of fines.
