Mr. Ahmad Shteiyat, President of Tahfeez Association for Entrepreneurship and Development, participated on behalf of Tahfeez and as part of the Masar Coalition in the consultative session on discussing the Ministry of Health Strategy for 2026–2030, organized by the Directorate of Project Management, Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Health, with the participation of representatives from UN Women.
The session included a presentation delivered by the Director of the Directorate, Engineer Huda Ababneh, highlighting the main pillars and areas of the strategy. Mr. Ahmad Shteiyat and members of the Masar Coalition also presented a number of observations and recommendations aimed at enhancing the inclusiveness of the strategy and integrating a gender-responsive public budgeting perspective, in addition to developing planning, monitoring, and evaluation mechanisms, contributing to improving the strategy prior to its adoption.
Tahfeez Association for Entrepreneurship and Development, together with the Civil Coalition for Gender-Responsive Public Budgeting (Masar Coalition), appreciates the participatory approach adopted by the Ministry of Health and emphasizes the importance of involving civil society organizations as active partners in developing national policies and strategies, in a way that strengthens good governance and responsiveness to the needs of different groups of society.
