Tahfeez Association Participates in the 2026 National Conference for Jordanian Youth

Tahfeez Association for Entrepreneurship and Development participated in the activities of the 2026 National Conference for Jordanian Youth, held in Irbid Governorate under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, former Prime Minister, and organized by the Bani Obaid District Youth Authority, Al-Husn Cultural Forum, and Afaq Group for Media and Conferences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture. The conference brought together a wide range of decision-makers, experts, academics, and youth from various governorates of the Kingdom to discuss key issues related to the future of Jordanian youth.

Ahmed Shteiyat, President of Tahfeez Association for Entrepreneurship and Development, participated as a speaker in the youth session titled “From Dream to Success: What Did We Learn Outside University? And the Role of Officials in Combating Wasta (Nepotism)”. He shared his personal experience of moving between different career paths, emphasizing that changing one’s career path can be a step toward success when it is based on vision and continuous learning. He also addressed the importance of acquiring practical skills, building professional networks, and preparing for the requirements of the labor market, noting that success is achieved through hard work and self-development rather than relying solely on an academic degree.

The conference served as a national platform for dialogue between youth and decision-makers. Its sessions addressed a number of important topics, including the economy, entrepreneurship, education, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, employment, and equal opportunities. Discussions also covered the challenges facing youth, highlighted available opportunities, and explored ways to develop skills, promote innovation, and build a supportive environment for their active participation across various sectors. The conference also emphasized the importance of partnership and cooperation among different sectors and civil society organizations in supporting youth initiatives, empowering young people, and enhancing their participation in shaping solutions and addressing future challenges.
