Tahfeez Association for Entrepreneurship and Development has joined the Global Healing Network (GHN) following the completion of a capacity-building program in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Trauma-Informed Care, implemented over the previous two years with the participation of ten partner organizations from Jordan and Lebanon and across several governorates in Jordan. This membership marks the culmination of a training and development journey focused on strengthening organizational capacities and enhancing MHPSS practices through a trauma-informed care approach.
Throughout the implementation of the program, Tahfeez participated in a range of specialized trainings and activities aimed at developing the skills of staff working in MHPSS, promoting staff well-being, and applying practical and creative approaches when working with children and caregivers. These approaches included the use of diverse tools such as play, arts, theater, and sports activities, contributing to creating safer environments that are more responsive to the needs of individuals and communities.
Tahfeez’s membership in the Global Healing Network represents an important step toward strengthening knowledge exchange and international collaboration. The network provides member organizations with ongoing opportunities for capacity building, peer learning, experience sharing, and networking with organizations and experts around the world. Tahfeez considers this step a new milestone in its journey to enhance the quality of its programs, expand its international partnerships, and continue adopting best practices in MHPSS and trauma-informed care, supporting the empowerment of individuals and communities and contributing to positive and sustainable impact.
