Tahfeez Association for Leadership and Development organized training in the chocolate industry in partnership with “Mihan Man Dahab” Company, to empower women in theory and practice to manufacture chocolate and sweets in Irbid Governorate.
The training came in two theoretical and practical phases. The theoretical phase included various topics that revolved around talking about chocolate, its types, shapes, and the way it was made, from melting and cooling it to serving it, in addition to talking about the molds used.
As for the practical stage, it began by applying what the women had learned about the stages of making chocolate, and it was as follows:
– Processing of raw chocolate used and processing of molds.
Put the chocolate in a container that can withstand the temperature of the microwave or water bath.
Temperature setting (by tempering).
Take out the chocolate after melting it and pour it into bags to be formed in the molds
Use the required fillings for the chocolate filling.
Cool the chocolate for 4 hours.
