Tahfeez Association for Entrepreneurship and Development implemented a volunteer day with the participation of 200 volunteers in 9 regions within Irbid Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, within the project to enhance youth community participation in Irbid Governorate, which is part of the project to provide integrated services to the most affected youth.
The volunteer day aims at enhancing and activating the participation of young people in the community and integrating them into community work to develop their energies and enhance their capabilities. This day included several different activities that take into account the needs of youth and society.
The activities were distributed to several different places in the Irbid governorate and with multiple partnerships. The activities varied, including practical activities aimed at recycling clothes, planting seedlings and roses, beautifying places, general maintenance of facilities, general hygiene activities in neighborhoods, in addition to movement and awareness activities for children and people with disabilities, in addition to sports activities. And recreational and field activity on health awareness and others.
Speaking about the volunteer day,
Mr. Ahmed Shtayat, head of the Tahfeez Association, said that this day is an opportunity for positive interaction between youth and society and to activate the positive role played by young people in this direction, and that the participating volunteers are of various nationalities and have provided services to about a thousand beneficiaries in Irbid governorate.
